This tag has been making its rounds among the beauty gurus on Youtube. Since I need to bring this blog to life and get more content up here, I figured I would answer it here!
The Questions:
1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
Assuming that I would be able to replace them, I would personally choose my mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses. Reason being is that my palettes and eyeshadows would be WAY more expensive to replace! Most of my mascaras/lipsticks/eyeliners/glosses are drugstore, and while it would suck to lose them, it wouldn't be the end of the world.
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Would I be required to keep my hair in the chopped-off hairstyle forever? If so, I would rather not be able to cut it again. But if I could let it grow out again, I would chop it off, haha.
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink! I feel it is more versatile and appropriate year-round :)
4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Clothes, for sure! Makeup would be nice, but $1000 of it would be rather excessive.
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Lipstick as eyeliner, even though it would squick me out. I feel like you could pass it off as eyeshadow, whereas eyeliner as lipstick...
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Sephora. While I love MAC, I'm not a die-hard fan of the brand, and I feel that Sephora has way more to offer in terms of selection.
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
One lip colour. With lip colours I tend to stick to old favourites, whereas I am always mixing it up as far as eyeshadow goes.
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Winter clothes in summer! It would suck on super hot days, but I hate being cold :(
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails. I think the majority of my collection is bright polish, actually.
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Lip product, for sure. I'm not a HUGE lip product junkie in the first place and don't really have a "holy grail" lipstick/gloss, so it would not be too heartbreaking for me if I had to give it up. Eye product though, different story.
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Ponytail. I wear them most often, and I feel that they are more versatile in the fact that as long as your hair is long enough to do so, you can tie one.
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never use lipgloss. Again, the whole not being big on lip products thing, haha. Plus, even if I couldn't use lipgloss, there is always lip balm and lipstick!
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Oh man... I think I would rather shave my eyebrows and have none at all, because I have bangs, so. I could attempt to draw my eyebrows on with a brow pencil or whatever, and it would be less noticeable with my bangs covering them than it would be if I drew them on with sharpie.
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Nail polish. Makeup has been a constant for me ever since I started wearing it, whereas nail polish has always been rather "take it or leave it" (though in the past year I have started wearing it a lot more often!)
